Flap Settings on the X-Plane Mobile 737

One common misconception of X-Plane Mobile is the various positions of the flaps on our 737.

The numbers printed on the center console of the 737 are simply different options to choose from, not a representation of the actual angle of the flaps. The number next to the user interface control for the flaps is a true representation of the angle of the flaps. This is exactly how the real aircraft controls function.

That is why there is a difference between the flap option selected on the console and the number displayed on the user interface. Other manufactures, like Airbus, label flap positions 1, 2, 3, etc. to avoid the confusion.
