X-Plane 11 Kiosk Mode

Kiosk mode is a useful setting for preventing any modifications. This can come in handy at trade shows or in education environments. 

Enabling Kiosk Mode

In the general settings screen, simply check the box near the bottom-right to enable Kiosk mode. Then you must enter a password to turn on Kiosk mode. 

Once it's enabled, no preference changes are allowed at all, and you will not receive any prompts regarding the last used aircraft and last known location. 

To turn Kiosk mode off, simply return back to the general settings and enter the password again.
