Setting Weight, Balance, and Fuel in X-Plane 11

Like most things in X-Plane 11, you can customize the weight, balance, and fuel of your aircraft at any time.

Customize

To set these variables, click the "Customize" button on your aircraft before starting your flight. Then click the "Weight, Balance and Fuel" button on the bottom left of your screen. During a flight, go to the Flight menu and pick “Edit Weight & Balance.” You can set the center of gravity, payload weight, total fuel weight, and the distribution between fuel tanks.

Things to Remember

• These settings have a direct impact on how your aircraft will perform for X-Plane.
• You can always choose "Restore Defaults" to undo any changes you have made.
• You can also change the units between metric and US.
