X-Plane says I need a Professional Key
There are a variety of situations where you really do need a Professional License for X-Plane! You can read more about these licensing situations here.
Often the simulator will show an error like this if you have accidentally enabled a special projection setting.
X-Plane includes a variety of projection tools that do require a Professional Key but these can be enabled by mistake!
If you see a message like the one above and you are not using a projector, follow the steps below to resolve the issue!
- Open the Developer Menu in X-Plane
- Open Projection Parameters
- Make sure that no boxes are checked in the this pop-up window.
That should fix this!
