Installing Add-On Scenery Packs

X-Plane makes adding new scenery packs easy!

Find a hot new scenery pack for X-Plane? We love it! Here's how to install and enjoy it in the sim.

1. Unzip the downloaded file.
2. Move the unzipped scenery package folder to X-Plane 11 > Custom Scenery.
3. Restart X-Plane and enjoy!
4. You may need to adjust the scenery loading order of X-Plane. We have an awesome video tutorial on that available below.

To create your own custom scenery, use the World Editor tool (WED), downloadable for free from the Scenery Tools page of the Developer site. You can find the manual here.
